LUCKY MOBILE REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM RULES
The program gives a $50 bill credit, applied as a credit of $5/mo. for 10 months, to both the Lucky Mobile customer making the referral and the person being referred. Both must meet all the eligibility requirements of the Refer-A-Friend Program.
The referral program is fully managed online. Lucky Mobile customers who registered for the program prior to June 17, 2024 can refer friends and check the status of referrals online through the online dashboard.
Lucky Mobile customers who registered for the Refer-a-Friend Program prior to June 17, 2024 are eligible for the program and can continue to refer friends and benefit from the referral credits.
As the person making the referral: You must be an existing Lucky Mobile customer. The referral offer and your friend’s offer will be applied at the same time, which will be during your referred friend’s 2nd or 3rd month of service. Both you and your friend must be active Lucky Mobile customers, and your account must be in good standing for a minimum of 30 days after the referral is complete and must remain open, active, and eligible.
As the person being referred: You must become a new Lucky Mobile customer activating a new Lucky Mobile number on an in-market plan, and your account must be in good standing for a minimum of 30 days after the referral is complete and must remain open, active, and eligible. Offers will only be applied to eligible accounts after a successful submission of the referral form and if you have made the 2nd, on-time, monthly payment. The referral credit is not available for referring existing Lucky Mobile customers.
Lucky Mobile employees (including former employees receiving an employee rebate on their account or third‐party employees who sell Lucky Mobile products and services) are not eligible for this program.
$50 for you and $50 for your friend. Once both of you complete the referral and are confirmed as eligible, the credits will be applied in installments of $5 per month over 10 months. To receive your offer each month, you must Top-Up to cover your Total Monthly Charge (Plan + Add-Ons) amount.
The referral credit value may vary by province. Lucky Mobile reserves the right to adjust the credit amount applied to your account if the province you selected prior to sending a referral differs from the province where you activate with us.
Lucky Mobile may end the Program or change any of the terms and conditions of the Program at any time, without notice and without obligation to award any referral credits.
Because both you and your friend must remain active and in good standing for a minimum of 30 days after the referral is complete, no eligibility checks or confirmations will take place for a minimum of 30 days after the referral has been submitted.
Until then, all referrals will be noted as “Pending” in your dashboard.

Yes. Referral emails and social media invitations are valid for 45 days.
RULES FOR LUCKY MOBILE CUSTOMERS WHO WANT TO MAKE REFERRALS
You can refer friends. Friends are anyone with whom you have either a friend or family relationship. Friends include anyone related through marriage, common-law or individuals who are related as a parent and child and anyone who you have had direct, voluntary two-way communications with in the past 18 months.
Yes, the person you refer can either buy a phone from Lucky Mobile or bring their own.
Access the referral dashboard to get your unique link that you can share with your friends.
You can refer multiple friends, however, you’ll receive a maximum of $15 in credits (or 3 referral rewards) per month while the offer is available in market. You can receive a total of $150 in a 10-month period. Your referral credits in any given month cannot exceed the monthly service fee for your mobile phone plan (minus any applicable credit or promotional discount, if any, and exclusive of taxes).
Once a referral has been redeemed by your friend, you can track the status in your dashboard
Once your friend’s eligibility has been confirmed, the referral will be noted as “Successful” in your dashboard. Once your eligibility is confirmed, we’ll send you an email to let you know and you will receive the first installment of your credit on your account during your friend’s 2nd or 3rd month of service.
If your referral did not meet eligibility requirements, it will be noted as “unsuccessful” in your dashboard.
Heads up: Lucky Mobile care and sales representatives are not able to check the status of your referral.
Your friend must accept the Lucky Mobile Refer-A-Friend offer within 45 days of receiving the referral, become a new Lucky Mobile customer and submit the new Lucky Mobile number at luckymobile.ca/refer within 7 days of activating their service.
Upon confirmation of eligibility, the first installment of the referral credit will be applied to both Lucky Mobile accounts during your friend’s 2nd or 3rd month of service.
You can view your credits by logging into MyAccount. Your credits will be added to your account balance each month, so long as your account remains open, active, and eligible. You can view your balance details by selecting Payment history on the Overview tab and then filtering for the desired dates. The credit will also appear in the Promotions section of the Overview tab as “Bonus $5/mo x 10 mo – Referral”.
RULES FOR FRIENDS WHO ARE REFERRED TO LUCKY MOBILE
Using the unique link shared by your friend, redeem the offer (by entering your name and email address into the referral system) before you activate your service with Lucky Mobile.
Then, within 45 days of unlocking your offer, buy SIM card and activate.
After activation, you need to come back to the referral system and provide your new and active Lucky Mobile phone number within 7 days.
If all eligibility conditions are met, Lucky Mobile will apply the first $5 credit to your account and to the account of the person who referred you during your 2nd or 3rd month of service. The subsequent $5 installments will be applied for the next 9 months, as long as Top-Ups to cover both Total Monthly Charge (Plan + Add-Ons) amounts are made.
If you are transferring an existing phone number from your previous provider, you cannot submit the temporary Lucky Mobile phone number you may be given during the transfer process. If you submit the temporary Lucky Mobile phone number, or submit your existing phone number before completing the transfer, the referral credits will not be authorized.
Before submitting your phone number, ensure you complete your phone number transfer, and submit your phone number into the referral system.

PREVIOUS REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM - FAQ
The previous Refer-A-Friend program has now expired. The last day to apply to that program was July 20, 2022.
No, the old program referrals will not have any impact on this new Lucky Refer-A-Friend program.
No, you will continue to receive the credits from the old program, provided that you keep your account active for the period in which you are eligible to receive the credits.
