Ways to Top-Up    

 

To keep your Lucky Mobile account active, you must Top-Up your account with enough funds to cover your Total Monthly Charge (Plan + Add-Ons) each month. There are several ways to Top-Up. Our recommended method is Automatic Top-Up. Or, add funds to your account anytime by doing a Manual Top-Up.

Automatic Top-Up

There are two Automatic Top-Up options:

  1. Monthly with Low Balance Top-Up

    With this option we will automatically charge your credit card, Visa Debit or bank account every month with enough funds to cover your Total Monthly Charge (Plan + Add-Ons), prior to your Monthly Charge Date. We will also Top-Up your account any time your balance reaches a minimum amount (set by you), ensuring you have funds available in case you need to buy a Service Pass.

  2. Monthly Top-Up

    With this option we will automatically charge your credit card, Visa Debit or bank account every month with enough funds to cover your Total Monthly Charge (Plan + Add-Ons), prior to your Monthly Charge Date.

    If you forget to change your Monthly Top-Up settings when you change your Plan and Add-Ons, we will automatically change your Top-Up amount to match your new Total Monthly Charge for you. This way, you never need to worry about losing your service.

Manual Top-Up

With this option, you’ll need to remember to Top-Up your account with enough funds to cover your Plan and Add-Ons, every month before your Monthly Charge Date, to ensure uninterrupted service.

Register for Automatic Top-Up

With the Lucky Mobile My Account app :

  1. Launch the Lucky Mobile My Account app on your phone.
  2. On the main screen, click Register for Automatic Top-Up.
  3. Select your desired Automatic Top-Up option and click Continue.
  4. Choose a Top-Up amount and your desired Method of Payment. Click Continue.
  5. Enter the information relating to your chosen Method of Payment and click Review.
  6. Review the registration details, select Submit and accept the Terms of Service in order to complete the registration.

With My Account:

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. Select the My Prepaid Account tab.
  3. Click Change Automatic Top-Up under the Top-Up options section.
  4. Select your desired Automatic Top-Up option and click Next.
  5. Choose a Top-Up amount and enter the Credit or Debit card information.
  6. Click on Next.
  7. Review the registration details, accept the Terms of Service and select Submit in order to complete the registration.

How do I opt out of Automatic Top-Up?

With the Lucky Mobile My Account app:

  1. Launch the Lucky Mobile My Account app on your phone.
  2. On the main screen, click on the profile icon on the top right corner.
  3. Click My profile
  4. Click the Billing and services tab
  5. Click the Change button next to Automatic Top-Up
  6. In the Automatic Top-Up Options page, select Cancel Automatic Top-Up
  7. Click Next
  8. In the Review page, click Submit

With My Account:

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. On the Overview tab, under My Prepaid Account, select Change Automatic Top-Up in the Top-Up options section.
  3. In the Automatic Top-Up Options page, select Cancel Automatic Top-Up
  4. Click Next
  5. In the Review page, click Submit

Express Top-Up Program

Express Top-Up allows you to quickly add funds with a registered credit card or bank account, using a four-digit PIN, so you won’t have to enter your payment information every time you Top-Up.

If you signed up for Monthly Top-Up or Monthly with Low Balance Top-Up, you are automatically registered for this program.

Change my payment information for Automatic or Express Top-Up

With the Lucky Mobile My Account app :

  1. Launch the Lucky Mobile My Account app on your phone
  2. Click the Balance icon
  3. Click Manage under Automatic or Express Top-Up
  4. Click Change Automatic Top-Up and follow the instructions on the screen

With My Account:

  • Log in to My Account
  • Click the My Prepaid Account tab
  • Click Change Automatic Top-Up or Change Express Top-Up and follow the instructions on the screen
  • If I’m using Automatic Top-Up, can I still make a Manual Top-Ups to add more funds to my account balance?

    Yes. Your automatic payments will still continue unless you remove from Automatic Top-Up from your account, or you reach the maximum account balance of $500. Once the maximum balance is reached, we will pause your Automatic Top-Up until there is enough room to take another payment.

    How can I Top-Up for multiple numbers on my account?

    Each number linked to your profile has its own Monthly Charge Date and payment method.

    You can manage your payment methods for each number by following the above steps in the Lucky Mobile My Account app or My Account.

    I’m having trouble doing a Top-Up. What can I do?

    Please ensure the payment information you are entering is correct and try again.

    If you are unable to view the Top-Up page, your phone’s browser may not support a Top-Up in this way. Your browser may not support a Top-Up in this way.

    Please try one of the following options:

    1. Dial *111
    2. Log into My Account using a Tablet, laptop or computer
    3. Launch the Lucky Mobile My Account app on your phone or tablet

    Note: if you are signed up for Automatic Top-Up and we aren’t able to Top-Up your account from the selected payment method, you will be unable to make any Top-Ups while your account is suspended. Contact us to get your account reactivated

    What types of payment are accepted?

    • Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express (Canadian or U.S.)
    • Direct banking
    • International credit cards are accepted for one-time Top-Ups only
    • MasterCard Debit is not accepted
    • Interac Debit is not accepted
    • Cheques are not accepted

    Can I register Lucky Mobile with my bank to Top-Up?

    You can use your banking information on your Lucky Mobile account for one-time or Automatic Top-Ups. Make sure you have your Bank name, Transit number, and Bank account number ready when you Top-Up.

    Can I pay with cash?

    Cash payments are not offered. However, you can purchase Top-Up cards at select retailers. and in many convenience stores, grocery stores and gas stations.
